Diagnosis
Inadequate washing and drying is typically caused by a clogged filter, a malfunctioning wash arm, or incorrect loading blocking spray patterns.
How to Fix It
Remove the bottom rack and unscrew the cylindrical filter assembly in the sump. Rinse all parts—the coarse grille, fine mesh filter, and housing—under warm water. Check the upper wash arm for free rotation and clear its spray holes. Ensure no tall items on the bottom rack are obstructing the lower arm's rotation.
If That Didn't Work
The diverter mechanism that directs water to the upper wash arm may be stuck. Manually rotate the diverter located in the center of the lower wash arm to ensure it moves freely. A failed diverter motor will require replacement.
Heads Up
Using rinse aid is critical for drying performance on this model. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and the dial setting is not on 'OFF' or depleted.
