Diagnosis
The dishwasher is experiencing a failure in the water heating system. The timer logic halts the cycle if the water does not reach the programmed wash temperature.
How to Fix It
First, verify the inlet water temperature. Ensure the hot water supply line is connected and the household water heater is set to at least 120°F. Run the hot water at the nearest sink before starting a cycle. If the supply is hot, the issue is internal. The heating element or its high-limit thermostat may have failed. You will need to test these components for continuity with a multimeter.
If That Didn't Work
The temperature sensor (NTC thermistor) could be providing an incorrect resistance reading to the main control board, falsely indicating cold water. This requires a resistance check against the specification at a known temperature.
Heads Up
The 'Sensor Wash' cycle is particularly dependent on accurate temperature sensing. A fault here will most noticeably affect that cycle first.
