elite gourmet coffee maker keeps leaking water from the bottom when i try to use it

This is almost always caused by an incorrectly assembled or missing filter.

Make sure the filter with grounds is secured back in place before you start the brewing cycle. Also, do not open the lid of the water reservoir or the filter basket while the coffee maker is brewing.
