epson wf-2860 won't connect to my wifi, how do i set it up without a router?

Diagnosis: You need to use Wi-Fi Direct mode. This allows the printer to act as its own network access point for up to 4 devices.

Fix: Enable Wi-Fi Direct Mode from the control panel.

1. Press the Home button.
2. Select the Wi-Fi icon.
3. Select Wi-Fi (Recommended).
4. Select Change Settings.
5. Select Others.
6. Select the option to enable Wi-Fi Direct.

Heads Up: In this mode, you connect your computer directly to the printer's SSID, not your home network.
