getting ink on the back of my prints with my epson workforce 2860, how do i fix this?

That's ink on the paper guide rollers. It's a straightforward cleaning process.

Here's what you do:

1. Load some plain Letter or A4 paper.
2. Press the Home button on your printer.
3. Select Maintenance.
4. Scroll down and select Paper Guide Cleaning.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. The printer will feed paper through to clean the rollers.

You may need to repeat these steps a few times until the paper comes out clean.

If that didn't work: If print quality is still poor after this, the print head path inside the printer might be smeared with ink. That requires a more involved manual cleaning with cotton swabs and a specific water/detergent mix.
