No. Fuel leakage during tilting means you tilted it to the wrong side. To prevent fuel leakage and carburetor flooding, you must always tilt the mower to the right side, so the fuel cap side is up. This is a mandatory step before any blade inspection or replacement.
Fix:
- Turn the fuel valve OFF.
- Disconnect the spark plug cap from the spark plug.
- Tilt the mower onto its right side (fuel cap up).
