For general use: SAE 10W-30. Honda recommends API service category SJ or later. Check the API label on the oil container.
Other viscosities by temperature:
- 5W-30 or 10W-30 for temperatures between -20°C and 40°C (-4°F to 104°F).
Procedure: Change oil per the maintenance schedule. Always use the dipstick to confirm the final level after adding oil. Do not overfill.
