Dead or improperly seated battery. It's the most common cause.
Fix it:
- Press the battery release button and pull the pack straight out.
- Check the battery charge level on its indicator.
- Firmly re-seat the battery pack until it clicks into place.
- Press the safety button down, then pull the blade control handle to the handlebar.
If that didn't work:
- Battery is completely discharged. Charge it using only a compatible EGO charger: CH2100, CH5500, CH2800D, CH7000, or CH3200 series.
- Faulty connection. Check the battery terminals and mower contacts for dirt or debris. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.
Heads up: Never force the battery in. If it doesn't seat and click easily, the contacts are misaligned.
