Quick answer: The 'Fluffy' optic cleaner head is designed to pick up fine dust, but hair and fibers will wrap around the ends of the roller, eventually jamming it.

Diagnosis

The 'Fluffy' optic cleaner head is designed to pick up fine dust, but hair and fibers will wrap around the ends of the roller, eventually jamming it.

How to Fix It

One: Press the red lever on the side of the cleaner head and lift off the cover. Two: Lift out the roller bar. Three: Use scissors to carefully cut and remove all wrapped debris from the ends of the roller, not the central bristles. Four: Reinsert the roller and click the cover back on.

If That Didn't Work

Debris may be jammed in the roller axle bearings inside the cleaner head. With the roller removed, inspect the U-shaped slots and clear any obstruction with a long, thin object.

Heads Up

Never submerge the cleaner head or roller in water. Use a dry cloth to wipe the housing. Water will damage the bearing mechanism and laser optics.
