how do i disable the dhcp server on my netgear orbi mesh system? i want to use my own server.

First, log into the router's admin panel and disable the DHCP server feature.

1. Connect a computer to your Orbi network (wired connection is best).
2. Launch a browser and go to orbilogin.com.
3. Log in with admin credentials (username: admin).
4. Go to ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
5. Clear the checkbox for Use Router as DHCP Server.
6. Click Apply.

If that doesn't work:

• Ensure your alternative DHCP server is properly configured and active on the network before disabling the Orbi's server.
• If you disable this and have no other DHCP server, you must manually set static IP addresses on all devices to access the router.
