DIAGNOSIS The Hunches, Alexa Routines, or Energy Savings features are active. These are enabled by default and can override setpoint.
FIX Disable all automation. In the Alexa app, select your thermostat > Settings. Turn OFF "Hunches". Turn OFF "Energy Dashboard". In the thermostat's on-device menu, go to Settings > Preferences > Schedules and set to "Off".
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for active Alexa Routines. In the Alexa app, go to More > Routines. Look for any routine containing "thermostat" as an action. Disable or delete them.
HEADS UP Setting a schedule to "Off" on the device does not disable Hunches or Energy Savings. These must be turned off in the Alexa app. They are cloud-based controls.
