Diagnosis
The Wi-Fi module in the opener has either locked up or its stored network info is corrupted. A full reset clears that memory so you can start the setup from scratch.
How to Fix It
You'll perform a factory reset. On the side of the motor unit, find the small pinhole button labeled 'Reset'. Use a paperclip to press and hold it for about 10 seconds. You'll see the status light go out, then come back on solid blue. This erases all Wi-Fi settings AND all paired remotes and keypads. Now, go through the initial app setup like it's a brand new unit.
If That Didn't Work
Sometimes the phone itself holds old connection data. Before trying the opener reset again, go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find your home network, and tap 'Forget This Network'. Then reconnect to it with your password, and immediately try the SkylinkHome app setup process again.
Heads Up
Remember, after a factory reset, you have to re-pair EVERYTHING: your phone app, any wireless keypads, and any handheld remotes. It's a hassle, but it's the nuclear option that usually works. Write down your keypad PINs first if you don't remember them.
