Diagnosis
This is almost always a Wi-Fi setup handshake issue. The opener's radio isn't getting the right network credentials from your phone during the initial pairing process.
How to Fix It
First, power cycle the opener by unplugging it for 30 seconds. When it reboots, the status light should be solid blue. Now, open the SkylinkHome app and go to 'Add Device'. Make sure you're connecting your phone to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, not 5GHz. The Atoms can't see 5GHz. Follow the app prompts, and when it asks you to press the 'Learn' button on the opener, do it—you'll hear a beep. Keep the phone within 10 feet of the opener during this whole process.
If That Didn't Work
Your router might be blocking the connection. Try temporarily disabling any 'AP Isolation', 'Client Isolation', or 'Privacy' settings on your router's Wi-Fi. These features prevent devices on the same network from talking to each other, which the setup needs.
Heads Up
The opener needs a consistently strong 2.4GHz signal. If your router is far from the garage, the connection might drop even after setup, causing the door to not respond to the app. A Wi-Fi extender in the garage often solves this.
