Never immerse or submerge the cooking appliance in water. Unplug it and let it cool completely first.
Wipe the outside with a warm, moist cloth and mild detergent. Clean the inside with hot water, mild detergent, and a nonabrasive sponge. Do not scrub the heating coils. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and do not leave standing water inside.
