First, you need to relieve the water pressure and engage the safety lock. Here's how to do it safely.
- Turn off the pressure washer and shut off the water supply at the faucet.
- Pull the trigger on the spray wand to release any trapped water pressure.
- Engage the lock-out on the trigger handle by pushing the trigger lock button to the right. This prevents accidental spraying.
- Pull back the quick-connect collar on the spray wand. It's the ring near where the tip connects.
- Now you can pull the old spray tip straight out.
- To install a new one, push the desired spray tip into place in the spray wand.
- Push the collar forward until it clicks or feels secure. Give the tip a gentle tug to check it's locked in.
Always start with the pressure off and the trigger locked. If it's still stuck, make absolutely sure all pressure is bled off by holding the trigger open after turning the water off.
