DIAGNOSIS The most common cause is the washer's 2.4GHz-only WiFi module conflicting with a dual-band (2.4/5GHz) home network that uses the same SSID name.
FIX On your phone, forget your home network. Temporarily disable the 5GHz band on your router, or create a separate 2.4GHz-only SSID (e.g., "HomeNetwork_2G"). Ensure the washer is within 10 feet of the router during setup. Put the washer in pairing mode (hold the Remote Start button for 3 seconds until the WiFi icon blinks). Use the app to connect to the 2.4GHz network.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The control board may need a refresh. Unplug the washer for 2 minutes. While unplugged, press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. Replug and attempt setup again.
HEADS UP The washer's WiFi module has limited range. It is designed for notifications and remote start, not for continuous data streaming. A weak signal will cause connection drops.
