Diagnosis
Smudges and dust on the dome lens are scattering the light, making the video look hazy or blurry, especially at night with the IR lights flaring.
How to Fix It
Power off and unplug the camera first. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth—like the kind for glasses or screens. Gently wipe the clear plastic dome in a circular motion. For stubborn fingerprints, barely dampen a corner of the cloth with distilled water (not tap water, to avoid mineral spots) and wipe, then immediately dry with the dry part of the cloth.
If That Didn't Work
If it still looks like there's a permanent film or cloudiness inside the dome, that's likely condensation that got trapped. This camera isn't rated for bathrooms or super humid rooms. Try placing the camera in a sealed plastic bag with a few silica gel packets (from shoe boxes) for 24 hours to draw the moisture out.
Heads Up
Never use window cleaners, alcohol, or abrasive cleaners on the lens. They will permanently cloud and degrade the plastic. Also, avoid spraying anything directly on the camera. The lens isn't designed to be removed for cleaning.
