Ink yield specifications: The included 65 mL replacement ink bottles are rated for approximately 4,500 pages (black) and 7,500 pages (color) based on ISO/IEC 24712 patterns.
Important note: Part of the ink from the initial setup bottles is used for priming. Yields are lower for those first bottles.
For infrequent printing: Yield may be lower. All ink colors are used for printing and printer maintenance. If you print infrequently or predominantly with one color, periodic maintenance cycles will use small amounts of all inks to prevent clogging.
Epson states the ink in the box can provide up to 2 years of printing based on an average of about 125 pages per month. For very light use, it could last significantly longer.
Heads up: To maintain printhead health with infrequent use, try to print a small color test page at least once every few weeks. Use genuine Epson ink bottles (522 Black, 522 Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) to ensure optimal performance and maintain your extended warranty.
