i get no sound from external devices connected to the hdmi ports, tv speakers work

Diagnosis

The audio signal from your external device is not being routed to the TV's internal speakers. This is almost always caused by the TV's Sound Out setting being configured for an external audio system (like HDMI ARC or an optical output), which mutes the internal speakers. The TV is waiting to play sound through a different device.

How to Fix It
