DIAGNOSIS This is almost always a power supply issue, not a broken fridge. Check the outlet and the cord connection first.
FIX Verify the power cord is fully pushed into the socket on the back of the fridge (it can be loose). Then, test the wall outlet with another device, like a phone charger, to confirm it's live. Try a different, known-good outlet.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check for a fuse in the plug (if your model has one). Some units have a small fuse access panel on the plug itself. Also, inspect the power cord for any obvious cuts or crimps.
HEADS UP If you've confirmed a good outlet and a secure cord and it's still dead, the internal fuse or control board has likely failed. Do not attempt to open the unit. This requires professional repair or a warranty claim.
