DIAGNOSIS The magnetic door gasket isn't making full contact. This is often caused by the unit being tilted slightly backward or an object inside propping the door open.
FIX First, ensure the fridge is level side-to-side and has a very slight forward tilt. Adjust the front feet so the door naturally wants to close shut. A forward lean uses gravity to improve the seal.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK Check the gasket itself. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Sometimes a small piece of packaging debris or a twisted edge breaks the seal. Run your finger around the entire gasket to ensure it's flat and even.
HEADS UP A poor seal makes the compressor run constantly, killing efficiency and potentially overheating the unit. If the gap persists after leveling, the door or cabinet might be warped—contact support.
