You can set up keyword blocking through the web interface. Here's how you do it.
- First, connect to your Orbi network and open a web browser.
- Type orbilogin.com into the address bar and log in. You'll need your admin username and password.
- Go to ADVANCED > Security > Block Sites.
- You'll see two options: Per Schedule (blocks based on a schedule you set) and Always (blocks all the time). Choose one.
- In the "Type keyword or domain name here" field, type the word or domain you want to block. For example, typing "social" would block sites with that word in the URL.
- Click the Add Keyword button. You can add up to 32 keywords.
- Finally, click the Apply button to save. The blocking takes effect immediately.
If a site isn't being blocked, try being more specific with your keyword or use the full domain name (like "example.com").
Remember, tech-savvy kids might find ways around this. It's a helpful tool, not a foolproof one.
