i need to block certain websites on my orbi network for my kids, is there a keyword filter?

You can set up keyword blocking through the web interface. Here's how you do it.

  1. First, connect to your Orbi network and open a web browser.
  2. Type orbilogin.com into the address bar and log in. You'll need your admin username and password.
  3. Go to ADVANCED > Security > Block Sites.
  4. You'll see two options: Per Schedule (blocks based on a schedule you set) and Always (blocks all the time). Choose one.
  5. In the "Type keyword or domain name here" field, type the word or domain you want to block. For example, typing "social" would block sites with that word in the URL.
  6. Click the Add Keyword button. You can add up to 32 keywords.
  7. Finally, click the Apply button to save. The blocking takes effect immediately.

If a site isn't being blocked, try being more specific with your keyword or use the full domain name (like "example.com").

Remember, tech-savvy kids might find ways around this. It's a helpful tool, not a foolproof one.
