Yes, use the PowerNap feature in Dell Display Manager.
Open DDM and navigate to the Options tab. Here you'll find PowerNap settings for energy saving. You can choose to set the monitor brightness to its lowest level or put the monitor to sleep when the screensaver activates.
If that didn't work: Confirm your U2722D model is supported. The PowerNap options tab is only available on supported Dell models. Also, ensure DDM is functioning correctly and communicating with your monitor (DDC/CI enabled).
Heads up: This is separate from your computer's power-saving settings. DDM's PowerNap controls the monitor's behavior directly based on screensaver activity.
