DIAGNOSIS This is a smart mapping issue. The robot's LiDAR sensor on top is either dirty, or it got confused during its initial learning run.
FIX First, power off the robot. Take a clean, dry microfiber cloth and gently wipe the clear plastic dome on top that houses the LiDAR laser. Even a light smudge can scatter the beam. Then, in the SharkClean app, delete your existing Smart Map. Run the robot in a single, simple room on "Clean" mode (not "Room Clean") to let it rebuild a basic map from scratch.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If it still skips, there might be too much infrared interference in the room. Bright sunlight streaming in a window or another robot vacuum operating nearby can blind the sensor. Try running it at a different time of day or with blinds closed.
HEADS UP The robot needs consistent lighting to map properly. If you ran the initial mapping at night with lamps on, and now you clean during the bright day, the different shadows can throw off its memory of the space.
