just got a ninja dualbrew pro and my over ice brew isn't cold at all, what's the point?

— asked by Alex

DIAGNOSIS: The ice in your cup is likely insufficient or melted before brewing.

FIX:

  1. Fill your cup, travel mug, or carafe all the way to the top with ice cubes before you start the brew cycle.
  2. Do not use partially filled ice. The brewer relies on the full volume of ice to cool the coffee.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The Over Ice brew uses elevated temperatures to lock in flavor, then relies on the ice for cooling. If your ice is old or freezer-warmed, it may melt too quickly. Use fresh, solid ice cubes.

HEADS UP: This is the intended function. It's not a cold brew system; it's hot coffee flash-chilled by a full cup of ice.
