You're likely not using enough ice. The Over Ice brew works by brewing hot coffee directly onto a full cup of ice, which melts and cools it instantly.
FIX:
- Choose your cup or travel mug.
- Fill it all the way to the top with ice cubes. Don't skimp.
- Select the Over Ice brew style on the control panel.
- Brew as normal. The machine brews at a higher temperature to lock in flavor, and the full cup of ice is designed to cool it to the perfect drinking temperature.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the coffee is still warm, double-check that you've selected the Over Ice brew style (the ice cube icon), not Classic or Rich. Also, ensure you're using a standard size (like 16 oz or 24 oz) that matches the ice-to-coffee ratio the brewer is calibrated for.
HEADS UP: The Approximate Brew Volumes chart shows how much liquid coffee you'll get after the ice melts. For example, a 24 oz Over Ice brew will use that much ice, and the final coffee volume will be less as the ice melts and dilutes it.
