DIAGNOSIS This is almost always an electrical connection issue. The power isn't reaching the control board. The most common culprit on a new install is the junction box knockout not being fully removed or the power cord not being securely connected inside it.
FIX 1) Double-check that the dedicated circuit breaker in your main panel is truly ON. Flip it off and on again. 2) Pull the dishwasher out carefully. Locate the junction box (usually on the lower right side behind the kickplate). 3) Ensure the metal knockout plate on the side of the junction box facing the power cable is completely punched out—sometimes a small tab remains and blocks the connector. 4. Verify the power cord wires are tightly secured under the correct terminals in the junction box.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK There's a slim chance the unit's main control board was dead on arrival. But rule out every connection first, including ensuring the outlet (if you're using one instead of hardwiring) is live by testing it with a lamp or voltage tester.
HEADS UP Bosch dishwashers are designed to be hardwired or use a specific power cord kit. If you used a generic cord, the connections inside the junction box might not be correct. Always follow the installation diagram for wiring.
