DIAGNOSIS The printer is not receiving power. The most likely cause is the power cord connection at the printer.
FIX First, trace the power cord from the outlet to the printer. Unplug it from the printer's rear port. Check the port for debris. Firmly reconnect the cord, ensuring it clicks into place. The power switch is on the front right. Press it. The power LED should illuminate white.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue may be the printer's internal fuse. This requires disassembly. Unplug the printer. Remove the toner cartridge and drum unit. Locate the fuse on the power supply board. Test it for continuity. Replace it with an identical 250V 5A fuse if blown.
HEADS UP Never operate the printer with the rear cover removed. High-voltage components inside remain charged even when unplugged.
