DIAGNOSIS This is warm ice melting and re-freezing. It happens if the ice sits too long in the basket or if the room is too warm.
FIX Reduce the ice production setting. Use the 'Small' ice size setting. Collect ice more frequently. The longer ice sits in the warm basket, the more it melts and fuses. Ensure the room is below 80°F.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The thermostat might be set too cold, causing the evaporator to over-freeze and the cubes to be wetter when harvested. This is usually not user-adjustable on these models.
HEADS UP Never store ice made by this machine in its basket for more than 24 hours. It's not a storage freezer. Transfer it to your freezer to keep it from clumping.
