How to Fix It
To achieve long-lasting curls with the CHI Spin N Curl, you must modify your sectioning and cooling timing. Follow these precise steps:
- Sectioning: Divide your hair into four quadrants. Use a rat-tail comb to isolate a section no wider than 1 inch (2.5 cm). If the section is wider than the barrel's diameter, the heat will not penetrate the center of the bundle.
- Preparation: Apply a dime-sized amount of a lightweight volumizing mousse or a heat-protectant spray with "memory" properties to damp hair before blow-drying, or use a dry-setting spray on a small section immediately before curling.
