DIAGNOSIS Almost always a power interruption. The grill's safety system won't auto-restart if it loses AC power, even briefly.
FIX Eliminate the power source as the culprit.
- Do NOT use an extension cord. Plug the grill directly into a dedicated, grounded outdoor GFCI outlet.
- Test the outlet by plugging in another high-wattage device (like a hair dryer) to see if it trips.
- If using a GFCI outlet, press the 'Reset' button firmly.
- Ensure the grill's power cord is fully seated in the receptacle on the back of the grill.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The issue could be internal. Check the main wiring harness connection inside the control panel. A loose connector can cause intermittent power loss. Unplug grill, open control panel, and firmly reseat the large white connector going into the controller.
HEADS UP A tripped GFCI is the most common cause. Outdoor outlets are sensitive to moisture and load. If it trips again during a cook, you may have a faulty outlet or a developing short in the grill's wiring—stop using it and contact support.
