my nutri bullet pro 900 is leaking from the bottom of the cup when i blend, what's wrong?

— asked by Alex

The sealing ring is missing, damaged, or incorrectly installed.

  • Unscrew the blade assembly from the cup.
  • Check that the black rubber sealing ring is present and seated correctly in the groove on the underside of the blade unit.
  • If it's cracked, stretched, or missing, you need a new one.
  • Reassemble by placing the ring in the groove and screwing the blade unit back onto the cup tightly by hand.

If that didn't work: You may be overfilling the cup. Liquid expands when blended. Do not fill past the Max Fill line, especially with hot liquids.

Heads up: Leakage from an improper seal can cause liquid to get into the power base, which is damage from misuse and is not covered under warranty. Always check the seal before use.
