DIAGNOSIS Your machine is stuck in its startup or diagnostic cycle. The most common culprit is air trapped in the water lines after a new setup or a water refill.
FIX First, power the unit off at the plug. Take the water tank out, give it a good shake to dislodge any air bubbles, and set it aside. While the tank is out, check the little silicone gasket on the bottom of the tank's connector—make sure it's seated properly and clean. Now, plug the machine back in without the tank. Let it sit for a full minute. You'll likely hear the pump run and then stop. After that, reinstall the water tank firmly. The blue light should go solid and production should start within a few minutes.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If the blinking continues, the machine might think the drain tray is full when it isn't. Take the drain tray completely out, dry the bottom and the area where it sits in the machine with a towel, and reseat it perfectly level. Sometimes a slightly tilted tray triggers the full sensor.
HEADS UP This blinking cycle is the machine trying to prime itself. It can take up to 15 minutes after you fix the airlock before you see the first ice fall, so give it a little time to catch up.
