Diagnosis: No light on the Internet port means no active link to your modem or ISP device.
Fix:
- Verify the Ethernet cable is firmly connected to the router's yellow Internet port and to your modem's Ethernet port.
- Ensure your modem is powered on and fully booted. Restart the modem.
- Restart the Orbi router after the modem is online.
- Check the cable for damage. Try a different known-good Ethernet cable.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The issue may be with your ISP configuration. Log in to orbilogin.com, go to ADVANCED > Setup > Internet Setup, and review your settings. Ensure you selected the correct options and typed everything correctly. You may need to contact your ISP for the correct configuration information (like PPPoE username/password or static IP).
HEADS UP: Ports 1 and 4 (Internet) support Internet port aggregation for multi-gig speeds. If you're not using aggregation, only use the single yellow Internet port.
