DIAGNOSIS The monitor is receiving power but failing to initialize its backlight or signal processing. The flashing power LED indicates a power supply or mainboard fault.
FIX Perform a hard power cycle. Unplug the monitor's power brick from both the wall and the monitor. Press and hold the physical power button on the monitor for 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cable directly to a wall outlet, not a power strip. Press the power button once.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The external power adapter is a common point of failure. Test with a compatible 19V DC adapter with the correct polarity and at least 4.74A rating. If a known-good adapter doesn't work, the internal DC-to-DC board has likely failed.
HEADS UP The monitor's power-saving mode can be aggressive. Ensure the source device is powered on and sending a signal before turning the monitor on. A blank screen with a steady white power LED often means no input signal, not a hardware failure.
