DIAGNOSIS: This is usually a memory or calibration issue. The desk's controller is losing its "home" position, so after a move, it's trying to re-find where it actually is.
FIX: You need to reset the memory. 1) Lower the desk all the way down until it stops. 2) Hold down the "M" (memory) button and the "down" arrow button simultaneously for about 5 seconds. You'll hear a beep and the lights will flash. 3) Release the buttons. The desk should now be recalibrated. Try setting a new height memory position.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The problem could be a weak connection in the control box. Check where the handset cable plugs into the main control box under the desk. Unplug it, check for bent pins, blow out any dust, and firmly reconnect it. Power cycle the desk by unplugging it from the wall for 30 seconds.
HEADS UP: This drift often happens after a power outage or if the desk gets physically bumped hard. If recalibration fixes it, you're good. If it keeps happening weekly, you might have a failing controller.
