DIAGNOSIS: The triple beep is Vari's standard overload/obstruction error. The motors are detecting too much resistance, so they shut down to protect themselves.
FIX: First, clear the desk surface completely—take off monitors, laptops, everything. Now try to move it. If it moves, you were simply over the weight limit. If it still beeps, check for physical jams. Get on the floor and look under the desk. Make sure no cords, chair arms, or other objects are wedged in the legs or crossbar. Gently rock the desk side-to-side to see if it's binding on anything.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: The weight sensor might be out of whack. You'll need to do a full reset. Unplug the desk from the wall. Wait two full minutes. While it's unplugged, press and hold the up and down buttons on the handset for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in. This sometimes clears a false overload error.
HEADS UP: Don't ignore the triple beep. Repeatedly trying to force it can burn out the motors. The weight limit includes everything on the desk, not just the big items—don't forget that heavy monitor arm or desk shelf.
