my wf-2860 prints are all streaky and faded, how do i clean the print head?

Clogged nozzles. Do a print head cleaning. First, check your ink levels. You cannot clean if a cartridge is expended.

From the printer control panel:

1. Load a few sheets of plain paper.
2. Press the Home button.
3. Select Maintenance.
4. Select Print Head Cleaning.
5. Select Start.

Do not turn off the printer or open the front cover during the cycle.

After cleaning, select Check, then Print to run a nozzle check pattern. If streaks remain, you can clean up to 4 times.

If that didn't work: Wait at least 6 hours without printing, then try cleaning again. If quality is still poor, contact Epson.
