Diagnosis
The 'Clean Filter' indicator is a maintenance reminder, not a blockage alert. It triggers automatically after a set number of cycles, regardless of the filter's actual condition. The machine won't run until you manually acknowledge the message.
How to Fix It
Press and hold the 'Heated Dry' button for about 3 seconds. You should hear a beep and the 'Clean Filter' light will turn off. After that, you can select and start a normal cycle. Yeah, this one's common—it's more of a calendar reminder than a sensor.
If That Didn't Work
If holding the button doesn't clear it, the unit might need a hard reset. Turn off the circuit breaker powering the dishwasher for one full minute, then turn it back on. This often clears persistent indicator messages.
Heads Up
Even after clearing the message, do actually check and clean the filter assembly (the cylindrical filter and the flat filter plate) every few months. Food debris there can cause other performance issues like poor draining or leftover grit.
