Quick answer: The MyQ gateway lost its connection to your home Wi-Fi network or to the opener itself. A power cycle or router change often causes this.

Diagnosis

The MyQ gateway lost its connection to your home Wi-Fi network or to the opener itself. A power cycle or router change often causes this.

How to Fix It

Power cycle the entire system. Unplug the MyQ gateway from power. Also, disconnect the opener from power at the ceiling outlet for 30 seconds. Restore power to the opener first, then plug the gateway back in. Wait for its LED to settle. Then re-sync in the MyQ app under 'Add/Manage Device'.

If That Didn't Work

The gateway may need to be re-paired to the opener. Press the 'learn' button on the motor unit. Then press the button on the front of the MyQ gateway. The motor unit light should flash. This re-establishes the direct radio link.

Heads Up

The MyQ gateway requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. It will not connect to 5 GHz networks. Check your router settings.
