need to fully clean my epson wf-2860 scanner glass, how do i do it without breaking anything?

You want to clean the scanner glass and the interior. It's simple if you follow the steps.

First, safety: Turn off the printer, unplug it, and disconnect all cables.

1. Pull out the paper cassette and remove any paper.
2. Open the document cover (the flatbed lid).
3. Use a soft, lint-free cloth (microfiber is best) moistened with a little glass cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly on the glass.
4. Gently clean the scanner glass and the glass area on the left.
5. Close the document cover.
6. Open the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) cover.
7. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the rollers and interior of the ADF.
8. Open the ADF input tray and clean that area as well.

For the outer case and control panel, just use a soft, dry cloth. No liquids or chemical cleansers.

Heads Up: Never use a hard brush, alcohol, paint thinner, or any lubricants inside the printer.
