DIAGNOSIS: Some splatter is normal, but it's usually due to too much distance between the coffee outlet and your cup.
FIX:
- Always use the single-serve cup platform that came with your brewer. Place your cup or travel mug on it.
- Make sure your cup is positioned directly under the coffee outlet.
- If brewing pods, ensure the Ninja Pod Adapter is correctly installed over the brew basket with the handle closed.
IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If splattering is excessive, check that the sliding lid is fully closed or the Pod Adapter handle is closed and locked. An unsealed system can cause irregular flow.
HEADS UP: The cup tray significantly reduces splatter by shortening the drop. Don't try to brew directly into a cup sitting on the counter.
