How to Fix It
To restore full BTU output to the affected burner, follow these precise cleaning and calibration steps:

- Lift the heavy cast-iron grate and carefully remove the circular burner cap. Set it aside on a soft surface to avoid scratching the enamel.
- Examine the aluminum burner head. Use a thin, stiff sewing needle or a 0.5mm precision pin to manually poke through every single small hole around the perimeter of the burner head. Do not use a wooden toothpick, as these can snap off and permanently plug the port.
- Use a vacuum with a brush attachment or a can of compressed air to blow out any loosened debris from the center of the burner assembly.
- Submerge the burner cap in a mixture of warm water and a degreasing dish soap. Use a nylon scrub brush to clean the underside of the cap, specifically focusing on the radial slots where the gas exits.
