DIAGNOSIS Low air pressure in the storage tank bladder. When the air pressure is too high, the water bladder can't expand fully. The system thinks the tank is full prematurely. FIX Shut off the feed water and open the faucet to drain the tank completely. Check the air pressure at the Schrader valve on top of the blue tank with a tire gauge. It must be 6-8 PSI when the tank is 100% empty. If it's higher, press the valve stem to bleed air. If lower, use a bike pump to add air. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The tank's internal bladder may have ruptured. A sure sign is water coming out of the air valve when you check pressure. If the bladder is bad, the entire blue storage tank must be replaced. HEADS UP Check tank pressure with the water side fully drained. Any water pressure left in the tank will give a false high reading. Drain it until air comes out of the faucet.

changed the filters now it's leaking from the bottom of the filter housings, just a slow drip.

DIAGNOSIS The O-rings on the filter cartridges are not seated correctly, or the housing O-rings are pinched/dirty. Even a small grain of sand can cause a leak. FIX Turn off the feed water valve and unplug the unit. Unscrew the leaking housing. Remove the filter. Inspect the black O-ring on the top of the filter. Wipe it and the groove clean. Lubricate it with a tiny amount of food-grade silicone grease. Re-seat the filter straight down. Hand-tighten the housing firmly. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The housing's internal O-ring might be damaged. The housing has a large flat white O-ring inside the cap. Remove it, clean the groove, and inspect for nicks. Replace it if damaged (kit usually comes with filters). HEADS UP Never use petroleum jelly on O-rings. It degrades the rubber. Only use silicone grease made for plumbing or the grease supplied with the system. Overtightening with a wrench can crack the housing.

pd600 keeps running and draining non-stop, won't shut off. the drain line has constant flow.

DIAGNOSIS The automatic shut-off (ASO) valve is stuck open or failed. This valve stops production when the tank is full. A constant drain stream means it's not closing. FIX First, try to free it by flushing. Turn off the tank valve. Let the system run for 5 minutes. The constant flow can sometimes dislodge a tiny debris particle. If it stops, turn the tank valve back on. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The ASO valve is part of the filter housing assembly. It is not user-serviceable. You must replace the entire filter housing assembly (part #FH-600 for this model). Shut off feed water and power before replacement. HEADS UP This wastes hundreds of gallons of water. If the flush doesn't work immediately, shut off the feed water valve under the sink until you can replace the part. Do not let it run unattended.

getting a lot of air bubbles or cloudy water from the faucet, looks like it's carbonated.

DIAGNOSIS This is normal, especially with a new system or after a filter change. It's dissolved oxygen coming out of solution, not a contaminant. The water is under high pressure in the membrane and tank. FIX Let the water sit in a clear glass for 30-60 seconds. The bubbles will rise and disappear from the bottom up. This is a visual issue only. The water is safe. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If it's persistent and tastes odd, you may have a leak on the suction side letting air in. Check the pre-filter housings (stages 1 & 2). Ensure the O-rings are lubricated with silicone grease and the housings are tightened securely by hand, not with a wrench. HEADS UP Cloudy from bubbles is fine. Milky white that doesn't clear is a problem. If it doesn't clear, the membrane may be compromised or there's an installation error allowing unfiltered water to bypass.

DIAGNOSIS The flow restrictor in the faucet aerator is clogged with scale or sediment. This is the most common cause of slow flow on an otherwise working system. FIX Unscrew the aerator from the tip of the faucet spout. Soak it in a bowl of white vinegar for 30 minutes. Use an old toothbrush to scrub the small screen. Rinse thoroughly and screw it back on hand-tight. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The storage tank's air pressure may be too high. Shut off the water and drain the tank completely. Use a tire pressure gauge on the Schrader valve (like a bike tire valve) at the top of the blue tank. It should read 6-8 PSI when empty. If higher, bleed air out until correct. HEADS UP Never use CLR or harsh chemicals on the aerator. They can damage the plastic and leave a residue. White vinegar is safe for the food-grade materials.

the smart faucet led is flashing red and yellow alternately, no water is coming out. what does that mean?

DIAGNOSIS The system is in a flush cycle or error state. Alternating red/yellow indicates a communication error between the faucet base and the main unit's PCB. FIX First, unplug the power adapter from the wall for 30 seconds. Then unplug the small DC connector from the back of the main unit. Wait 2 minutes. Plug the DC connector back in, then plug the power adapter into the wall. The system will reboot and the lights should sequence normally. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The cable between the faucet base and the main unit may be damaged or loose. Trace the thin 2-wire communication cable. Ensure both ends are fully seated in their connectors at the faucet base and at the control board. HEADS UP Do not ignore this. If communication is lost, the automatic shut-off valve won't function. The system could waste water continuously. Shut off the feed water valve until it's fixed.

just installed my pd600 and it's making a loud humming or vibrating noise from under the sink, sounds like a bad pump.

DIAGNOSIS This is usually not the pump. It's water hammer or vibration from the fast-closing solenoid valve in the automatic shut-off valve assembly. FIX Check that the feed water supply line is secured and not touching the cabinet. Add a water hammer arrestor to the cold water line feeding the system. A small 1/4" inline arrestor installed between the angle stop valve and the RO inlet can absorb the shock. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The drain saddle clamp might be loose, causing the drain line to vibrate. Tighten the clamp on your sink's drain pipe. Also ensure the drain line has a high loop secured above the drain connection to prevent back-siphoning. HEADS UP A constant grinding noise is different. That could be the booster pump failing. If the hum is only for 2 seconds when the tank fills and stops, it's normal valve operation.

my pd600 faucet light is solid blue but the app says the filter life is at 0% and needs replacement, which one is right?

DIAGNOSIS The app and faucet light are out of sync. The TDS sensor data isn't updating correctly in the app. FIX Manually reset the filter life in the Frizzlife app. Go to the device page. Tap 'Filter Life'. Tap the reset button for the filter in question. Confirm. Then pull out the plug from the smart faucet base and plug it back in. This forces a resync. IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The problem may be the TDS sensor probe in the filter housing. Unplug the system. Remove the final stage filter. Check the two metal sensor pins inside the housing. Clean them with a cotton swab and white vinegar. Reinstall the filter and plug the unit back in. HEADS UP The faucet light color (blue/yellow/red) is based on real-time TDS. The app percentage is just a timer. Always trust the faucet light for actual water quality.
