Diagnosis
Weak or unstable WiFi signal at the plug's location. The KP125 has a relatively weak antenna and can drop off if there's interference or too many walls.
How to Fix It
Improve the signal strength. Move the plug to an outlet closer to your router, or move your router. Avoid outlets near large metal appliances, microwaves, or behind thick masonry walls which block WiFi.
If That Didn't Work
The issue might be router-related. Reboot your router and any mesh extenders. If you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz channel is set to a less congested channel (like 1, 6, or 11) instead of auto.
Heads Up
A consistent, strong signal is critical. These plugs don't have great range. If the plug is in a detached garage or far basement, you'll likely need a WiFi extender or mesh system that covers that area reliably on the 2.4GHz band.
