replaced filters on my aquasana aq-6300m but the red light is still on

DIAGNOSIS: You didn't replace the battery. The system uses the battery to power the indicator.

FIX: Replace the battery tray.

1. Open the battery compartment on the system manifold.
2. Remove the old battery tray and dispose of it properly.
3. Insert the new battery tray that came with your filter replacement cartridges.
4. When inserted correctly, the system will beep five times and the LED will blink red. This resets the indicator.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK: If the red light persists after a new battery, the filter housings are likely not fully locked. Remove and reattach each one, ensuring you feel the 'click' and they are aligned correctly (Black, White, Yellow for the AQ-6300M).

HEADS UP: The battery must be replaced every time you replace the filters. A new one is included with the filter cartridges. Also, remember to flush the system for 10 minutes after filter replacement before drinking the water.
