DIAGNOSIS The front bumper sensor isn't detecting the obstacle in time, or the drive wheels are losing traction trying to climb over it.

FIX For rug fringe, the only reliable fix is to use a boundary strip. Place it just before the fringe to create a no-go zone. For low cabinet lips, sometimes increasing the carpet boost setting helps. In the app, go to the robot's settings and turn on "Carpet Boost." This makes the wheels spin faster on transitions.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK If it's a specific low-hanging piece of furniture, you can try attaching small, adhesive furniture pads to the front bumper to act as a physical buffer, giving the sensor an earlier warning. This is a hack, but it works for some people.

HEADS UP The robot isn't designed to climb objects higher than about 3/4 of an inch. Continually getting stuck and having to rescue it will drain the battery faster and wear on the drivetrain.
