Diagnosis
The KVM peripheral switching function is not activated or is misconfigured. The KVM must be manually enabled per input.
How to Fix It
Connect your keyboard and mouse to the USB-B upstream port or the designated KVM USB downstream ports on the monitor. Use the joystick to open the OSD. Navigate to System > KVM. Set KVM to On. For each input source (e.g., USB-C, HDMI 1), assign the KVM to the correct USB upstream port (USB-B or USB-C).
If That Didn't Work
Ensure you are using the correct USB upstream connection. For the USB-C input, the KVM data travels over the same USB-C cable. For a DisplayPort or HDMI input, you must connect a separate USB-B to USB-A cable from the monitor to your computer.
Heads Up
The KVM function requires a brief handshake period. Wait 3-5 seconds after switching inputs for the keyboard and mouse to transfer. Rapid switching may cause failures.
