Diagnosis
This is a temporary signal loss or handshake interruption. Common causes are a failing cable, energy-saving features, or a conflict with adaptive sync.
How to Fix It
Replace and firmly reseat your video cable, especially if using USB-C. Use a certified high-bandwidth cable. Disable power-saving features in the OSD: navigate to System > Power Saving and set Auto Power Off, Sleep Mode, and Eco to Off. Disable any variable refresh rate settings on your computer's graphics control panel.
If That Didn't Work
The issue may be related to the monitor's firmware. Check for a firmware update via the BenQ website using a USB flash drive and the monitor's service menu. Also, try resetting the monitor to factory defaults via the OSD (System > Reset).
Heads Up
If using the built-in USB hub with high-power devices, a power surge can briefly interrupt the monitor's controller. Try connecting power-hungry peripherals directly to your computer instead.
