the display on my ol701 is completely dead, no lights, but the power cord is plugged in. is it fried?

DIAGNOSIS No power to the main control board. The most common cause is a tripped thermal fuse in the power supply circuit, often from a voltage spike.

FIX Unplug the unit. Press and hold the Power/Start button firmly for 30 full seconds. This can drain residual charge and reset the system. Then, plug it directly into a different wall outlet (not a power strip). Try turning it on.

IF THAT DIDN'T WORK The internal thermal fuse or main control board has likely failed. This requires a technician. Contact Ninja support. Do not open the base yourself.

HEADS UP Always plug the Foodi directly into a wall outlet. Power strips and extension cords can cause low voltage, which stresses the electronics and can cause this failure.
